Why We Built This Site
Public access does not make every Alabama court record available through one free search. Lamar County Circuit Court handles felonies, major civil matters, and domestic relations. District Court handles misdemeanors, state traffic cases, small claims, and other assigned matters. The Circuit Clerk keeps those case records, while Probate Court and each municipal custodian maintain their own files. Just One Look offers paid access to state trial-court records, and AlaFile serves registered filers rather than public searchers. This resource brings the verified routes together without treating those separate systems as interchangeable.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket types: how Lamar County criminal court dockets and civil court dockets differ
- Schedules: how to use the latest filing or notice and confirm a setting through the court schedule process
- Search routes: how Just One Look, the clerk, and a docket search fit together
- Copies: how to request Lamar County court case records, including certified documents
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, with no connection to an Alabama court, clerk, or government agency. That creates firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot promise that every fee, contact detail, or setting remains current
Only the Circuit Clerk or the court that holds a case can authenticate its docket or issue a certified copy. This resource can identify the office, but it cannot supply the official document.
Search Partners
Outside companies power search boxes on some pages. They control their own results, terms, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not control a partner's charges, records, or data practices, so review its terms before submitting information.
